New Xiaomi Phones Pass Radio Approval in China
Two new Xiaomi phones, with model numbers 24129PN74C and 2410DPN6CC, have recently received domestic radio approval in China. These devices are believed to be part of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series, set to launch in October in China.
Xiaomi 15 Series Models and IMEI Listings
According to reports, the 15 series consists of three models: Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra. The IMEI database listings reveal specific model numbers for each variant, such as 25010PN30C, 25010PN30G, and 25010PN30I for the Ultra model.
The Ultra version is anticipated to launch in the first quarter of 2025.The standard Xiaomi 15 is distinguished by model numbers like 24129PN74G, 24129PN74I, and 24129PN74C for the global, Indian, and Chinese versions respectively. Additionally, the 15 Pro is identified by the model number 24101PNB7C, while a satellite version is listed under the model number 2410DPN6CC.
Upcoming Launch of Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Chip
The Chinese editions of 15 and 15 Pro satellite variants have received radio certification, hinting at an imminent launch in China.
Qualcomm is set to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 happening between Oct. 21 and Oct. 23. Xiaomi is anticipated to host a launch event in China shortly after the Qualcomm announcement, unveiling the 15 and 15 Pro as the first smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. There are speculations that the Pro model will be exclusive to China, while the standard and Ultra models will be available in markets outside of China.
Upcoming Flagship Phones and Features
Reports indicate that the Xiaomi 15 series is set to introduce both straight and curved screen designs, with the standard model featuring a 1.5K small straight screen and the Pro model boasting a 2K equal-depth quad-curved screen. Notable design elements may include a square camera island in the upper left corner and a right-angle metal middle frame with chamfered edges.
Several other flagship phones are expected to hit the market in the near future, such as the Vivo X200 series, Oppo Find X8 series, OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, Realme GT 7 Pro, and Redmi K80 series.
These devices are anticipated to be released between October and November. Additionally, the Honor Magic 7 series and new phones from Huawei are tentatively scheduled for a November launch.
