Vivo X200 Ultra Series Launch Announcement
Vivo has officially announced that it will launch its X200 series smartphones on October 14. The initial lineup is expected to include at least two models: the Vivo X200 and the X200 Pro, with an Ultra model anticipated to be released in early 2025. Despite the upcoming launch, there have been leaks providing insights into the specifications of these devices.
According to reliable sources, the X200 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, identified by its codename “SM8750.” Additionally, the camera setup is expected to feature an impressive 200MP periscope lens, indicating a focus on high-quality photography capabilities in the new smartphones.
Vivo X200 Ultra Specs Camera and Battery Upgrades
The Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to feature an enhanced camera setup, moving from three lenses in the X100 Ultra to four lenses, all with a 50MP resolution. Among these, one lens is anticipated to be a main module with a fixed large aperture, while the other two are likely to be an ultrawide and a telephoto lens. This upgrade suggests a significant improvement in photography capabilities for the upcoming model.
In addition to the camera enhancements, leaks indicate that the Vivo X200 series will also see upgrades in battery capacity. The X200 Pro is rumored to have a substantial 6000mAh battery, while the X200 Mini may feature a 5700mAh battery, and the standard Vivo X200 is expected to come with a 5800mAh cell. These improvements in both camera and battery specifications highlight Vivo’s commitment to enhancing user experience in their latest smartphone offerings.
The X200 series is set to feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400 chip, except for the X200 Ultra, which will utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. This distinction suggests that the Ultra model may offer enhanced performance compared to its counterparts in the series.
In addition to its powerful chipset, the X200 Ultra is expected to come equipped with a 2K 120Hz OLED display, promising high-quality visuals and smooth performance. However, details regarding other specifications of the device remain unclear at this time.
