Vivo has introduced the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro in India, featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen3 chipset. The Vivo V40 Pro has a similar display but with a Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both phones have impressive cameras, fast connectivity, and large batteries capable of 80W fast charging. The Vivo V40 Pro features a 17.22 cm AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 – 1260 (FHD+), providing an immersive viewing experience. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, smooth scrolling, and fluid animations. The display can reach a local peak brightness of 4500 nits, making it readable even in bright sunlight. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 14 Global, based on the latest Android 14, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor for fast performance and efficient multitasking.
The Vivo V40 Pro offers two storage variants: 8 GB with 256 GB of internal storage and 12 GB with 512 GB. Its large 5500 mAh battery provides extended usage without frequent recharging and supports 80W fast charging. The phone comes with a vivo standard charger that supports up to 80W charging power. The rear camera features a 50 MP AF+OIS ZEISS Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50 MP AF ZEISS wide-angle sensor, and a 50 MP AF Sony IMX816 ZEISS telephoto portrait lens with 2x optical and 50x digital zoom.
Vivo V40 Pro: Price in India
The Vivo V40 Pro is set to launch on August 13, available in Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey colors. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage at Rs 49,999, while a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at Rs 55,999. The standard Vivo V40 offers more color options and comes in three configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage at Rs 34,999, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at Rs 36,999, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage at Rs 41,999. The Vivo V40 will be available for purchase on August 19.
