Tata Altroz Racer With 120HP Launched with Price Starts At Rs 9.49 Lakh
Tata Motors has launched the Altroz Racer, a sporty version of the Altroz hatchback, with prices ranging from Rs 9.49 lakh to Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom India. The Altroz Racer features an upgraded 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, cosmetic enhancements inside and out, and several new features.

Key highlights include a powerful 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 120hp and 170Nm of torque, a boost of 10hp and 30Nm over the previous iTurbo variant, and a 6-speed manual gearbox. However, unlike the i20 N Line, it does not include suspension or steering upgrades.
New features include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen with a new operating system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and a voice-assisted sunroof. The Altroz Racer is available in three paint options: Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey, each with a contrasting black finish and white racing stripes on the bonnet and roof. Inside, the Racer includes red highlights around the AC vents and gear lever, new leatherette upholstery with contrast stitching, and enhanced comfort and technology features.
The Altroz Racer is offered in three trims: R1: Rs 9.49 lakh, R2: Rs 10.49 lakh, and R3: Rs 10.99 lakh. With the introduction of the Altroz Racer, Tata Motors has discontinued the iTurbo variant, and its primary competitor, the Hyundai i20 N Line, is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 12.52 lakh. Another close rival is the Maruti Fronx with a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine, priced between Rs 9.72 lakh and Rs 13.04 lakh.
