Although Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy A56, it has been spotted in the IMEI database, suggesting its imminent release. The new model is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, which promises a significant performance enhancement over the A55‘s chipset.
The Galaxy A56 has been identified with the model number SM-A566B/DS, while the Galaxy A55 is associated with SM-A556B/DS. The upcoming Exynos 1580, codenamed ‘Santa’, is anticipated to rival the Snapdragon 888 SoC in terms of power, featuring a three-cluster CPU architecture. In addition to the chipset details, the upcoming Galaxy A56 smartphone is anticipated to be unveiled in the first quarter of next year, likely in March, following the trend set by its predecessor, the Galaxy A55 5G.
