Reliance Industries introduced the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer at its Annual General Meeting, set to launch this Diwali. The offer includes up to 100 GB of free cloud storage for Jio users, aligning with the company’s focus on integrating artificial intelligence into technology.

Chairman Mukesh Ambani highlighted the initiative, emphasizing the secure storage and access of digital content like photos, videos, and documents. Additionally, Jio plans to develop AI-ready data centers and inference facilities across India, powered by renewable energy sources and in collaboration with global tech firms to enhance AI capabilities in the country.

Innovations in New Cloud Services

  • The new cloud services will introduce Jio TvOS for Set-Top Boxes with enhanced features like Ultra HD 4K video and Dolby Atmos.
  • Jio Home IoT will offer smart home solutions integrated with Jio TvOS, compliant with industry standards.
  • Jio TV+ will provide a unified platform for live TV, on-demand shows, and apps, with access to various channels and content.
  • Additionally, Jio Phonecall AI will integrate AI with phone calls, enabling users to manage calls efficiently through features like recording, transcribing, and translating calls, all stored in Jio Cloud.

Reliance Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer

Reliance has revealed that the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer will be accessible to all users from this Diwali onwards. The company aims to provide cloud storage and AI-powered services to a wider audience with the introduction of this offer.

Mr. Ambani emphasized that Jio’s network manages 8 percent of global mobile traffic, offering data at prices below the global average. Jio’s impact has positioned India as the largest data market worldwide, with 490 million subscribers and an average data usage of over 30 GB per user monthly, resulting in a 33 percent rise in data traffic in the last year.
