Motorola has introduced the Moto S50 in China, a compact smartphone equipped with the latest Dimensity 7-series chipset and a versatile camera setup featuring a telephoto camera. The device boasts impressive specifications, features, and pricing details.

Overview of Moto S50 Features

The Moto S50 features a 6.36-inch 1.5K display with LTPO technology and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a peak brightness of 3000 nits and an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. Powered by the Dimensity 7300 chipset, it boasts LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage for smooth performance. The phone is equipped with a 4,310mAh battery supporting 68W fast charging, allowing for a 0 to 50 percent charge in just 13 minutes, and also supports 15W wireless charging.

Camera Setup and Features of Moto S50

The Moto S50 features a camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera that also functions as a macro lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, it has a 32-megapixel front camera for high-quality selfies. The phone comes with Hello UI-based Android 14, NFC support, Gorilla Glass protection, and IP68-rated dust and water resistance. It has dimensions of 154.1 x 71.2 × 8.1mm and weighs 170 grams.

Motorola Moto S50 Variants and Pricing

The Moto S50 comes in two variants: a 12GB+256GB version priced at 2,199 Yuan (~$310) and a 12GB+512GB version priced at 2,499 Yuan (~$350).

It is available in colors like Persimmon Orange, Flora Blue, and Latte. The global version of this device is known as the Motorola Edge 50 Neo.

The Moto S50 offers consumers a choice between two storage options and various color selections.

Additionally, the device has been introduced to the global market under the name Motorola Edge 50 Neo, providing users worldwide with access to its features and specifications.
