Lunar Lake Laptop: Intel Launches Core Ultra Processors (Series 2)
Intel has introduced the Intel Core Ultra 200V series, codenamed Lunar Lake (Lunar Lake Laptop), which are highly efficient x86 processors designed for laptops.
These processors in Lunar Lake Laptop are said to provide a combination of performance, power efficiency, graphics, security, and AI computing capabilities. This launch follows Microsoft’s announcement of Copilot+ PCs powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite Platform.

Laptops Availability (Lunar Lake Laptop) with Intel Core Ultra 200V Series Processors
According to Intel, the Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors will be used in over 80 consumer laptops from more than 20 manufacturing partners, including Acer, Asus, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI, and Samsung.
Pre-orders start today, and the systems will be available globally in stores and online at over 30 retailers from September 24. PCs powered by these processors and running the latest Windows version will receive Copilot+ PC features as a free update in November.
Intel Core Ultra 200V Series Processors Features and Specs
Intel has introduced the new Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors to meet consumer demands for powerful performance, long-lasting battery life, wide application compatibility, enhanced security, and AI support. These processors are designed for efficiency, with innovations that can reduce power consumption by up to 50%, doubling running time compared to the previous generation. Intel claims these processors can deliver up to 20.1 hours of battery life, surpassing Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite series’ 18.4 hours.
Intel Core Ultra (Lunar Lake Laptop) 200V Series Processors Overview
Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors feature 8 cores, including 4 efficiency cores and 4 performance cores, with up to 12MB of Intel Smart Cache. The maximum Turbo frequency for performance cores is up to 5.1GHz and for efficiency cores is up to 3.7GHz.
These processors also come with up to Intel Arc 140V GPU and connectivity support such as 3 integrated Thunderbolt 4 Ports and integrated Wi-Fi 7. Claimed to offer up to 120 total platform TOPS for AI performance, these processors include a fourth-generation NPU that is up to 4x more powerful than the previous generation while maintaining low energy consumption.
Intel Announces Intel Evo Edition Powered by Latest Intel Core Ultra Processors
Intel has introduced the Intel Evo Edition, which is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Processors. These laptops are designed to reduce lag, minimize distractions, and improve battery life. The Intel Evo chips offer cooler, quieter performance, long battery life, built-in security, and Intel Arc graphics. Devices with Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors are available for pre-order, with commercial devices on the Intel vPro platform coming next year.
