The Z9 Turbo+ is set to be an enhanced version of the iQOO Z9 Turbo, with notable improvements in its chipset and battery capacity. While the Z9 Turbo boasted the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and a 6,000mAh battery, the Z9 Turbo+ will come equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a larger 6,400mAh battery. Additionally, the Plus edition will continue to support 80W fast charging, maintaining a focus on performance and power efficiency.
Despite the increase in battery size, the Z9 Turbo+ will maintain a sleek profile at 7.9mm, similar to its predecessor. The device will see a slight weight gain from 195 grams to 199 grams. Notable upgrades include the integration of iQOO’s Q1 gaming chip and dual-frequency GPS support, replacing the previous Turbo graphics chip and single-frequency GPS. The Z9 Turbo+ is expected to be officially unveiled on September 24, offering consumers a blend of enhanced features and performance.
The upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is anticipated to sport a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a high 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It will also feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor for added security. Running on OriginOS 4-based Android 14, the Turbo+ is likely to offer a seamless user experience.
Camera-wise, the smartphone may come with a 16-megapixel front camera and a rear setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. With an expected price point of around 2,000 Yuan (~$282) in the Chinese market, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ aims to deliver a compelling combination of performance, design, and affordability.
