Infinix Zero 40 Series Launch in Malaysia
Infinix has introduced the Zero 40 series in Malaysia, unveiling the Zero 40 5G and Infinix Zero 40 4G models. These smartphones boast a 108MP primary camera, a 50MP front camera, and a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
They support GoPro connectivity for vlogging and will receive two Android OS upgrades, up to Android 16, along with three years of security updates. Specifications, features, and pricing details of these devices are worth exploring.
Features of Zero 40 Series
The Zero 40 series includes smartphones with 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED displays, 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and TÜV Rheinland Eye-care Mode certification. The Zero 40 5G runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the 4G model uses a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset. Both models offer up to 24GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, operating on Android 14 with Infinix UI.
The two models discussed have similar camera specifications, including a 108MP rear camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera. They both offer a Vlog Mode for vlog creation and support GoPro connectivity for managing a paired GoPro device through the phone’s display.
The Zero 40 series smartphones are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging. The 5G model also offers 20W wireless fast charging, NFC connectivity, and Google’s Gemini AI assistant.
Zero 40 Series Pricing and Availability
The Zero 40 5G is priced at $399 and the Zero 40 4G starts at $289, with prices varying by region. In Malaysia, the 5G model costs MYR 1,699 and the 4G version is MYR 1,200. Color options differ between the models. The release of the Zero 40 series in India has not been announced yet.
