Honor unveiled its latest foldable phone, the Magic V3, and introduced the MagicPad 2, a premium tablet competing with devices like the OnePlus Pad 2 and Galaxy Tab S9 at IFA.

The MagicPad 2 features a sleek and portable design, with a thin profile of 5.8mm and a weight of 555g. Its standout feature is the 12.3-inch OLED display with a 3K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits brightness. Additionally, it includes features like AI Defocus Display and high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.

The MagicPad 2 tablet offers IMAX Enhanced visuals and DTS audio certification for an immersive audio experience. It also includes Honor’s Spatial Audio Technology, expanding the sound field by 25%. Powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, it ensures smooth multitasking and gaming performance, supported by a large 10,050mAh battery that charges rapidly with a 66W adapter.
Honor MagicOS 8.0 Features
The Honor MagicOS 8.0 is based on Android 14 and offers various AI-powered functionalities like the “Magic Portal” for seamless access to apps and services across devices. It also includes features such as voice-to-text conversion, handwriting beautification, and formula recognition.

The device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 9-megapixel front camera for capturing photos.
It also boasts Bluetooth 5.3, three microphones, spatial sound with an eight-speaker crossover setup, and support for the Honor Magic Pencil 3 (available separately).
