Following its debut at IFA 2023, the Honor Magic V3 is now set for its India launch, confirmed by HTech CEO Madhav Sheth in an interview with Times Network and Digit. This highly anticipated foldable smartphone will mark the brand’s first foray into the Indian foldable market, and the company aims to make a significant impact with its innovative design and features.
Honor Magic V3 and V2 India Launch
The Honor Magic V3 will be joined by its predecessor, the Honor Magic V2, when both devices launch in India by the end of 2024. This dual-release is expected to offer Indian consumers a choice between two of the most advanced foldable smartphones on the market. Honor has yet to introduce any foldable device in India, so the launch of the Honor Magic V3 will be a landmark moment for the brand, bringing its cutting-edge foldable technology to a new audience.
Honor Magic V3 Price in India
Madhav Sheth revealed some preliminary pricing details for the foldable devices. While the Honor Magic V2 is expected to be priced under Rs 1 lakh, the Honor Magic V3 will come with a higher price tag, exceeding this threshold. This pricing strategy positions the Honor Magic V2 as a more affordable option among foldables in the Indian market, while the Honor Magic V3 will cater to those seeking the latest in foldable technology. As of now, the Tecno Phantom V Fold holds the title of the most affordable foldable in India, priced at Rs 88,888. However, with the launch of the Honor Magic V3, the market will witness increased competition in this category.

Comparatively, the Honor Magic V2 features a similar 50MP main camera but with different ultra-wide and telephoto sensors.
The Honor Magic V3 also boasts a larger 5150mAh battery, with support for 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, providing excellent battery life and fast recharging capabilities. Meanwhile, the Honor Magic V2 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 66W wired charging, lacking the wireless charging support found on the V3.
