Google relaunched Gemini apps with advanced AI & custom chatbot
These chatbots can be personalized with specific instructions and characteristics, enabling users to streamline repetitive tasks. Users can name the chatbot, provide instructions, and start using it to customize responses in Gemini Apps according to their needs.
Gems Feature Availability and Functionality in Gemini Apps
The Gems feature was initially introduced by Google during its I/O event in May and is now being rolled out to Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise users on both mobile and desktop platforms. For users who prefer not to create personalized chatbots, Google offers pre-made Gems.
This feature is paid and accessible in over 150 countries and more than 30 languages. Gems aim to enhance user experience by providing tailored chatbot solutions for various tasks.
Google’s Advancements in AI Technology
In addition to the Gems feature, Google has also resumed offering users the ability to generate images of people using its Gemini AI chatbot. This feature was temporarily halted due to historically inaccurate image generation.
Google’s AI text-to-image generator, Imagen 3, will be available on Gemini across all languages. The resumption of image generation on Gemini will be powered by an upgraded Imagen 3 with enhanced safety measures, ensuring accurate and reliable image creation for users.
