Comparison between Pixel Fold and 9 Pro Fold

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold camera bar design stands out in the series as it does not span the entire width, unlike the rest of the phones. The design of the Pixel Fold is more in line with this year’s phone designs.
Google Pixel 6 Pro features a “double-stacked” camera bar that enables a bigger battery and a thinner design, allowing the phone to lie flat on surfaces.

Google has introduced the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with an enhanced cooling system featuring an all-new vapor chamber and graphite thermal spreader. The device is thinner thanks to the multi-alloy steel and high-strength aluminum alloy-covered hinge. Google emphasizes the improved durability and the satisfying “snap” closing sound of the device.

The device also includes customized optical modules for Pro camera features and a custom, thinner haptics driver, along with a smaller USB-C port compared to the original Fold model.
