Apple Mac mini making major redesign shrinking to less than half the size with M4 power
Apple is set to unveil a redesigned Mac mini, powered by the latest M4 chipsets, which could make it the smallest desktop-grade computer ever. The entry-level Mac mini offers a convenient way to experience macOS without taking up much space, yet still packs enough power to handle complex workflows.
Apple Mac mini Major Design Changes
Bloomberg reports a redesigned, smaller Mac mini is set to release later this year, marking the first major change since 2010. The model may be as small as an Apple TV set-top box, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The model may have an aluminum housing, three USB-C ports, and an HDMI port, similar to current models.
M4 Means More Power in Apple Mac Mini
Apple’s fourth-generation M4 chipset, currently exclusive to the iPad Pro, may be introduced to the Mac mini. The M4 Pro, similar to the current Mac mini with M2 and M2 Pro chipsets, could make the Mac mini powerful and an affordable option for creatives. Currently, the Mac mini costs ₹59,900 and ₹1,29,900 with the M2 and M2 Pro models, respectively. It’s expected that a price hike may occur.
